fix: Fixed Bug29566 spec with list widget (#36260)
## Description **Root Cause Analysis (RCA):** The test case in `BugTests/Bug29566_Spec.ts` has become flaky due to its dependency on a third-party API call `(https://api.jsonbin.io/v3/b/)`. As experienced automation engineers, we understand that relying on third-party services can introduce instability and lead to frequent test failures. In this particular case, the dependency was tightly coupled with the test logic, and updating the data was not a viable solution. **Solution:** Upon assessing the situation, I determined that refactoring the existing test would take significantly longer than rewriting it from scratch. Therefore, I chose the rewriting approach to prioritize time efficiency. The test flow has been updated while maintaining the same assertions for data validation. Additionally, I have incorporated an extra assertion to verify the data after a page reload to further enhance the robustness of the test. Fixes #`36259` ## Automation /ok-to-test tags="@tag.Sanity" ### 🔍 Cypress test results <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: Cypress test results --> > [!TIP] > 🟢 🟢 🟢 All cypress tests have passed! 🎉 🎉 🎉 > Workflow run: <https://github.com/appsmithorg/appsmith/actions/runs/10816309843> > Commit: 2be906c50572425b31d84db8387e8e07b92314fb > <a href="https://internal.appsmith.com/app/cypress-dashboard/rundetails-65890b3c81d7400d08fa9ee5?branch=master&workflowId=10816309843&attempt=1" target="_blank">Cypress dashboard</a>. > Tags: `@tag.Sanity` > Spec: > <hr>Wed, 11 Sep 2024 17:34:50 UTC <!-- end of auto-generated comment: Cypress test results --> ## Communication Should the DevRel and Marketing teams inform users about this change? - [ ] Yes - [x] No <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit - **New Features** - Enhanced testing for the list widget to ensure it populates correctly on page load, addressing Bug 29566. - Introduced dynamic data sourcing for more accurate test scenarios. - **Bug Fixes** - Updated test cases to reflect changes in functionality and validate correct data display. - **Documentation** - Renamed test case for clarity regarding the specific bug being addressed. - **Chores** - Updated the limited tests configuration to focus on the new bug test instead of a template test. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

feat: Refactor SelectWidget sourceData handling (#34619)
## Description This pull request refactors the sourceData handling in the SelectWidget component. It introduces a dynamic property path for the sourceData in the SelectWidget configuration, allowing it to be passed as a JSON string. This change ensures that the source data matches the sample data passed for the widget configuration, enabling the switching back of the JS toggle button. Additionally, it fixes cypress tests: opening of the prop pane in JS mode. chore: unified way of writing messages in cypress (#33659)
## Description
We are using `createMessage()` and `Cypress.env("MESSAGES")` in Cypress
code to use strings. This can create confusion around the method to use
and creates inconsistency in our cypress code base. This PR unifies it
by following one way ie ` Cypress.env("MESSAGES")`. MESSAGES is defined

fix: deleted JSObject names are not released for later use (#29148)
## Description > Repeated refactor operations seems to leave stale JS Objects in the dataTree causing the dataTree to occupy namespace that no longer exists. This seems to have stemmed from the `updateEvalTreeWithJSCollectionState` method in app/client/src/workers/common/DataTreeEvaluator/index.ts, where we update the existing evalTree with JSObjects and their variables from the previous unEvalTree. > This PR modifies `updateEvalTreeWithJSCollectionState` to not apply variable state to evalTree if the entity is not present. #### PR fixes following issue(s) Fixes #29162 > if no issue exists, please create an issue and ask the maintainers about this first > > #### Media > A video or a GIF is preferred. when using Loom, don’t embed because it looks like it’s a GIF. instead, just link to the video > > #### Type of change - Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue) > > ## Testing > #### How Has This Been Tested? - [x] Manual - [x] Cypress > > #### Test Plan - [x] Repeated renaming operations should work. - [x] Deleting a JS Object should make the name available for use. - [x] Execution data should be preserved on rename operations > > #### Issues raised during DP testing > Link issues raised during DP testing for better visiblity and tracking (copy link from comments dropped on this PR) > > > ## Checklist: #### Dev activity - [x] My code follows the style guidelines of this project - [x] I have performed a self-review of my own code - [x] I have commented my code, particularly in hard-to-understand areas - [ ] I have made corresponding changes to the documentation - [x] My changes generate no new warnings - [x] I have added tests that prove my fix is effective or that my feature works - [x] New and existing unit tests pass locally with my changes - [ ] PR is being merged under a feature flag #### QA activity: - [ ] [Speedbreak features](https://github.com/appsmithorg/TestSmith/wiki/Guidelines-for-test-plans#speedbreakers-) have been covered - [ ] Test plan covers all impacted features and [areas of interest](https://github.com/appsmithorg/TestSmith/wiki/Guidelines-for-test-plans#areas-of-interest-) - [ ] Test plan has been peer reviewed by project stakeholders and other QA members - [ ] Manually tested functionality on DP - [ ] We had an implementation alignment call with stakeholders post QA Round 2 - [ ] Cypress test cases have been added and approved by SDET/manual QA - [ ] Added `Test Plan Approved` label after Cypress tests were reviewed - [ ] Added `Test Plan Approved` label after JUnit tests were reviewed |

fix: empty query response on page load issue fixed (#28296)
## Description When we bind a successfully running query to a widget, the query gets executed on page load, so in such a case, we were able to see the query in the widget, but when visiting query editor, response tab is empty. This PR fixes that issue. <img width="904" alt="Screenshot 2023-10-23 at 3 35 50 PM" src="https://github.com/appsmithorg/appsmith/assets/30018882/b0244c87-d18f-4d8c-ad35-35cd1f4abfd6"> **Root Cause:** In order to see the response in the response tab, we need to have action config, execute API response and responseDisplayFormat to be present. responseDisplayFormat denotes whether to show response in Table, Json or Raw format. This responseDisplayFormat gets set in `setDefaultActionDisplayFormat` method. This property is set on action config object itself. This method is called from execute `executePluginActionSaga` and `executePluginActionSaga` is called from `executePageLoadAction`, so the flow of actions looks as below: - `executePageLoadAction` - `executePluginActionSaga` - `setDefaultActionDisplayFormat` Once the responseDisplayFormat was set, `executePageLoadAction` was again resetting the action config object in the redux store, thus removing this responseDisplayFormat property and hence empty response tab. **Note: This bug is not a regression, it has existed from a long time.** #### PR fixes following issue(s) Fixes #28287 #### Media > A video or a GIF is preferred. when using Loom, don’t embed because it looks like it’s a GIF. instead, just link to the video > > #### Type of change - Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue) > > > ## Testing > #### How Has This Been Tested? > Please describe the tests that you ran to verify your changes.
